Melba Hops are a dual-use variety with high oil content and similarities to Galaxy.
When used as an early addition, it is said to impart a clean and somewhat spicy bitterness. When used as an flavour or aroma addition though, properties of passionfruit, grapefruit and citrus emerge.
Morgans 12g hop bags are easy to use. Steep in a cup of boiling water for 10 minutes before tipping water and bag into the wort at desired time.
